purchasing all of the original tooling and jigging from AC Cars in
the 80's, Autokraft partnered with Ford to bring the legendary
Cobra back.
With just 480 cars produced for the world and just 170 for the U.S.
Market, the MK IV provides an excellent opportunity to own an
Aluminum body Cobra that is built on the original tooling and of
the original design. With just a few structural changes for crash
worthiness, the MK IV is a near exact reproduction of the
original.
This particular example is car number 143 (AK1143) and has been
under the same ownership for the last 28 years and with just 9,400
miles, is in excellent condition and offered with a robust binder
of documentation. All of the original factory accessories are
included with the car including the muffler by-pass pipe and large
wheel nuts.
Finished in Mercedes Red over Tan interior with the original
"knock-off" wheels and dual rear exit stainless steel exhaust
pipes, this Snake is gorgeous and turns heads everywhere it
goes.
Powered by Ford's famed and potent 5.0 Liter V8, this lightweight
can sprint to 60 MPH in a mere 4.4 Seconds and is an absolute blast
to drive.
Complete with it's original soft top, windows, cover and knock-off
