This 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint 1300 is from the last year of Giulietta production and finished in its original AR-323 Russian Blue over a gray tweed and blue vinyl interior. This is an extremely rare example if this model. According to Fusi's Alfa Romeo book, only 409 of these very late "Giulitetta" Sprints were built. The Giulietta name was dropped on them in late 1963 and badged only as 1300 Sprints. According to notes on file, the Sprint was delivered new in Madrid, Spain and later exported to the US, where it was eventually acquired by Terry Larson of Tacoma, Washington, in 1989. The Sprint was systematically refurbished over a period of years including refinishing in its original hue and the fitting of a rebuilt, larger Alfa Romeo 101-series 1600 engine and five-speed gearbox. In July of 2006, this car was purchased by collector and vintage racer Tommy Trabue, this Sprint has benefited from continual attention, as evidenced by an extensive file of service invoices that accompany this sale. Many recent receipts accompany the car for rebuilding of front and rear suspension, cylinder heads, rear differential, brakes, brand new Michelin XAS tires installed April 2020, all gauges function properly. This little Alfa is ready for touring or shows!
