I purchased this very rare, super low mileage Italian Sports Car from a gentleman in Florida who was a serious Fiat enthusiast and after owning quite a few Fiat X 1/9 cars went on the search for an awesome Spider or Azzurra as they are known as from '82-'85.  He located this one from a gentleman in California who had owned it since 2007 and it was in amazing condition, very well maintained and had just under 40,000 original miles. He owned the car for close to 2 years and loved driving the car even though he put less than 1000 miles on it in the 2 years he owned it.  Some life changes caused him to move into a condo where he would no longer have the extra garage space so he needed to let go of this gorgeous, investment quality Pininfarina. Bummer for him, but super lucky for the next owner who will be absolutely thrilled with this car when it arrives to their driveway...maybe you!!!!? I'll do my best to provide enough pics, a video and an honest description so you can decide if this awesome roadster should be in your garage. I am also a transport broker so I can help the lucky new owner get a great rate on Enclosed Transport anywhere in the country. I also welcome overseas buyers and can assist in getting the car to the port of your choice.

This was a rust free car and received a repaint about 15 years ago. The gentleman in California who owned it for 11 years drove the car weekly so it accumulated the normal chips and dings but was still in mazing condition when we received it. I felt like it deserved a fresh, high quality repaint so we had the car completely de-trimmed and professionally repainted to a show quality finish. It was wet sanded and buffed out and seriously looks as good, if not better then when it came off the showroom floor. All of the chrome, trim, badges look fantastic.  The Rosso Red paint glimmers in the sun and is the perfect color on these cars!  While I hope the next lucky owner enjoys this sports car with the top down as often as possible it nice to know that it also has a high quality canvas convertible top that is in close to new condition and functions great.  Of course it also has the boot cover for a nice clean look when the top is down.

Complimenting the Rosso Red interior is an equally impressive Tan interior.  Seats look great and are very comfortable. The dash looks fantastic with no cracks which is rare. Door panels, carpeting, center console etc all look excellent. Gauges are crystal clear and all work as they should. Leather wrapped steering wheel looks great as do all of the woodgrain accents across the dash. Power windows work great as well. Original Wood shifter knob. Nice aftermarket stereo w/CD player was added.   As you will see the interior is also show worthy.

With just 40,500 original miles the 1995cc DOHC fuel injected inline 4 cylinder drives awesome!!! I have quite a bit of service history and receipts dating back to 2007 with about $11,000 spent on a variety of maintenance and upgrades.  Maintenance includes replacement of the timing belt, idler arm, and pulley in 2010. Within the last 1000 miles a full tune up with new distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires, ignition coil and fuel filter. Some great upgrades to enhance performance and the driving experience include an aluminum radiator with aftermarket cooling fan, a gear reduction starter, and a K&N air filter. Brakes were upgraded with ventilated Wilwood disc brakes at all 4 corners. Heavy duty rear sway bar enhances the handling. These cars are a blast to drive, loving to be pushed to the higher RPM's in each of the 5 gears in the manual transmission that shifts like butter.  The Cromodora Alloy wheels were completely reconditioned and wear Michelin Radials with very low mileage on them. Exhaust has the tone you would expect and was also replaced over the years.  The undercarriage is rock solid with no rust issues. Inside of trunk looks great with a matching spare and this car also comes with a custom fitted car cover.

Overall, this rare '84 Pininfarina is truly in stunning condition and is turn-key ready to drive and enjoy. It will be welcome at all the shows and cruise-ins and sure to be a great investment as well.

We have decided to list this car on the Bring A Trailer Auction website so the best way to have a chance at owning this beauty is to register and bid there. Here is the link to the auction with all of the pics and video.
