This being a Mercedes AMG the interior is as pleasant as the engine is proficient. Exterior
There's no mistaking the SLS AMG’s heritage. The long hood and wide stance take the classic design cues from the 300 SL Roadster and modernize them for the 21st century. The stunningly aggressive appearance of the SLS AMG is made even more menacing with the Obsidian Black Metallic paint job and matching black soft-top roof. The convertible roof opens and closes in 11 seconds and can be operated while moving, up to a speed of 50kph (31mph). With this being such a low mileage example, everything looks and operates exactly how it did when it left the factory.
Mechanics
All this significant styling was paired with an equally significant engine. The hand-built 6.2L V8 is capable of producing 563hp and 479 lb/ft of torque. The AMG-Speedshift 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is connected to the motor with a lightweight carbon-fibre driveshaft. All of this makes the car able to accelerate from 0-100kph (0-60mph) in just 3.8 seconds, achieving a top speed of 315 kph (196mph). The condition of this beautiful machine needs to be seen in person to truly be appreciated.
