I purchased this FJ40 in January 2019 after it had completed a body off restoration it appears from the photos and inspection (I had the vehicle go through a comprehensive inspection by a third party (Road Ready) review the inspection here:

As you can see by the photos the previous owner had the interior seats recovered (they are deluxe seats.The Soft top is new (there is no hard top with this vehicle).
Full interior pictures are located at the link above. Engine pictures with original carburetor and original air cleaner are included with truck.
Exhaust is stainless steel and runs the length of the vehicle.
The frame has been bead-blasted and repainted. The body is in excellent condition with a newer paint job.
The glass is in excellent condition. The vent windows do not open.
All hinges on the doors are new and work perfect.
Front windows roll up and down.
Transmission shifts very smoothly and the truck runs great.
Any item that needed correction was repaired by seller before I took delivery of vehicle with the exception of the gas gauge (which does not work).
In January 2020 the truck had a front end alignment and front end bearings repacked and oil change and tune up at Saint George’s Automotive in Port Charlotte, Fl.
I have since updated the manual choke carburetor to an electric choke, and have the original and a 2 second carb also nearly new with truck listed below:
