This 1980 Fiat 2000 Spider, Pinnafarina Fiftieth Anniversary Edition, is one of only 1000 Anniversary Editions made in the USA that year. This beautiful sports car is all original with matching numbers, only 94,000 miles on the odometer and is in overall excellent condition (as the pictures show). The Fiftieth Edition is painted a Champagne Cream color, with tan leather seats, and gold upholstery, featuring Abarth style 5.5J specially designed wheels. Mahogany wood finish is found on the dash, center console and gearbox.The car runs perfectly, is light but has a balanced suspension that makes for quick and responsive handling, the perfect fun car for that country road you love to drive. It handles curving roads remarkably well because the car is so light and well balanced. The steering wheel is a classical Ferraro 3 spoke, leather covered responsive wheel, with steering column mounted light controls (innovative back in the day). Transmission is a 5 speed manual with quick acting clutch, complemented by 4 wheel disc brakes for quick stopping. Radio with AM/FM and cassette still works, as does the heat and defroster controls. The red convertible top is new and very easy to take down or put back up with one person sitting n the vehicle, with no additional help. An original shop maintenance manual is available making any repairs much easier.
