The VW Bug was called The Peoples Car, and for some good reasons.
It was an easy to drive, easy to maintain car that is simple,
reliable, and fuel efficient. The early ones like this 1964, have
become collectible, but still fun to drive and attract attention
wherever they show up.
This is a nicely restored example with a smooth running 1200cc flat
four engine. The 4-speed gearbox feels fresh as well as the clutch.
The interior fit and finish is really nice. The red upholstery on
the beige exterior color is different and really pops. All the
window glass appears to be original and has the VW stamp on it. The
wiper blades work smoothly and all the exterior lights illuminate
