Why Lease to Own?
Purchasing via a lease does not affect your debt to income ratio which expands your access to credit instead of diminishing it like normal financing would. Leasing increases liquidity by allowing you to purchase a vehicle without depleting capital. Unlike many other types of financing, leasing requires no down payment. There can be many tax advantages to leasing over other types of financing.
Leasing gives you the benefit of driving a new or used vehicle for a lower monthly payment than you would have with other types of financing.
You can structure your lease to have a $1.00 buy-out at the end or you can have a "balloon payment" at the end which will have the effect of lowering your monthly payment. As an example, if you lease a $50,000 vehicle you may have a $15,000 payment due at the end. This means during the term of the lease you have a $50,000 vehicle but you are only making payments on $35,000!
