2009 Auction Schedule

It was a standing-room only event as thousands of collectors packed into the Dick Clark American Bandstand Theater in Branson, Mo., for the Mecum '57 Heaven Museum Auction on Oct. 24, 2009.

Mecum is excited to announce its annual Kansas City Auction will feature 500 collector cars and memorabilia up for bid on Dec. 4-5, 2009. The auction has moved to a new location this year at the Kansas City Convention Center/Bartle Hall.

It was a weekend of rock-n-roll, classic muscle and extraordinary cars at Mecum’s St. Charles Auction, Oct. 1-4, 2009, at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Ill. The four-day auction boasted total gross sales (excluding buyer’s premium) of $11.3 million.

Mecum Auction sold a variety of extraordinary and unique neon signs, rare parts and memorabilia to buyers across the globe during its McDorman Sign Auction, Sept. 11-12, 2009, at Bob McDorman Chevrolet in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Total gross sales for the two-day auction were just over $2 million.

The championship-winning 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe CSX2601 has made history again, selling for a record-breaking $7.25 million at Mecum's inaugural Monterey Auction on August 15, 2009.
