This 1975 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible remained with its first owner until 2017 when acquired. Subsequent work included reupholstering the seats in white leather, refinishing the hood and trunk as well as replacing the carburetor, radiator, water pump, transmission pan gasket, convertible top, and tires. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, a rear window defroster, a Denon cassette stereo, power windows, power seats, remote side mirrors control, soft close trunk and remote trunk open button in glove box. The body is finished in red with a white convertible top that was installed in 2018. Additional work completed in 2018 -- replace/paint rear filler panels, repaint hood/trunk and rust repairs. Exterior details include hood ornament, dual mirrors, and chrome-finished bumpers. The convertible top was serviced and adjusted in March 2024.
Steel 15″ wheels wearing body-color covers were mounted with 235/75 Nexen N’Priz AH5 tires in October 2023. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes. The Eldorado featured a torsion bar front suspension and a coil-sprung solid rear axle along with Automatic Level Control and power steering. The front suspension was serviced with a replacement torsion bar in 2018.
The front and rear bench seats were reupholstered in white leather and color-coordinated trim extends to the door panels. Appointments include a rear window defroster, a power trunk-lid release, a red dashboard with woodgrain trim, and a Denon AM/FM/cassette stereo as well as power windows and door locks. Air-conditioning system does not blow cold.
The three-spoke steering wheel was refinished in 2024 and appears new. The five-digit odometer shows 45k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
