1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 #'S MATCHING, BUILD SHEET This 1970
Chevelle received a frame off restoration. It looks amazing in its
factory color code 75, Cranberry Red with black racing stripes
running down the hood and trunk lid. Looking down both sides it is
nice and straight. This Chevelle has had minimal use and mileage
added since its completion. No expenses spared! The stainless trim
and bright work has been polished, the front and rear bumpers
rechromed. Everything looks amazing and correct. It sits on 14" SS
wheels with factory correct Firestone Wide Oval tires. Looking in
the engine bay: it is nicely detailed with its matching 396 ci/350
hp L34 engine block bearing casting #3969854 (1970 396ci), suffix
code of T01127 CTW (Jan 27). It has a set of ceramic coated
headers, power steering, correct chrome factory valve covers and
Cowl Induction air cleaner. The engine bay shows amazingly clean
and factory correct looking. The undercarriage is nicely detailed,
all clean metal. It has all new suspension and steering components.
Looking up at the engine it is clean and has a chrome oil pan. The
Turbo 400 transmission is clean as well. It features a 12 bolt posi
rear end, CCF code and dated 0114B2 (Jan 14) with a 3:31 gear
ratio. It also has F41 suspension with rear sway bar and boxed in
control arms. There is a dual exhaust that runs out the back with
the correct cowbell tips. The black interior shows well with
factory bucket seats and console. Everything is in great condition
including the dash. The dash features optional factory tach &
gauges. The seat upholstery, door panels, kick panels, carpet and
headliner all look great. It still retains its factory AM radio.
The trunk is complete with a spare tire, jack and trunk mat. It is
finished with a coat of splatter paint and new weather stripping.
The trunk compartment is immaculate! This 1970 Chevelle is a great
investment! It shows and drives excellent!
