The Chevy Suburban is the longest continuous nameplate in auto
history spanning from 1935 to the present day. Beginning strictly
as a utility vehicle, the Suburban was instantly popular with
tradesmen and cargo carriers in its early years evolving to the
most utilitarian of the sport utility vehicles. Since its
inception, the Suburban has been all about size, simplicity, and
utility. The 7th generation model was introduced in 1973 and was
one of the most popular versions of the legendary truck. Sold all
the way until 1991, the 7th gen was produced in Michigan,
Wisconsin, and later, Brazil. They have become one of the most
loved models of all time.
