Sport Fury Coupe.This one having the optional "Commando" 383 V-8
engine attached to a three-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission
(according to the owner are #'s matching).The Sport Fury was a
stylish, yet practical, muscle car. The best of both worlds for the
adult who wasn't ready to quite grow up anytime soon. Elwood Engel,
who had previously worked for Ford as a designer, had his work cut
out for him, as he just came on board. One of his first duties was
redesigning the Plymouth Fury for the 1965 model year. Standard
Sport Fury items include bucket seats with the Center Console with
transmission shifter/storage compartment. rear fender skirts.
Factory-installed options on this vehicle are: A/C, power steering,
center console tachometer, front bumper guard, an AM radio. Chrome
bumpers, grille and other stainless trim are in good condition.
